New Organization Structure at Sympak Group

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great pleasure that we would like to inform you about new changes that have occurred in our Group since November 02nd, 2009.
The Group has recently achieved a number of improvements that provide a sustainable competitive advantage, in fact in today's ever challenging business environment Sympak is better positioned than most of competitors.
Nevertheless, customers are more and more demanding for quality improvements, higher efficiency and innovation, and we need to increase speediness in analysis and decision making. The design of the organizational model is inspired at increasing SPEED of changes and it requires leadership for achieving operational EXCELLENCE.

The structure of the Sympak Group will be organized by Divisions, namely:

- Chocolate & Confectionary, including OPM and FIMA, and

- Dairy & Convenience Food, including Corazza, RC, Stephan Machinery GmbH, Stephan Food Service Equipment GmbH, Sympak Process Engineering GmbH and the network of international subsidiaries.

Theo Brandes will lead the D&CF and Paolo Musi will lead the C&C divisions. Both will be asked to pursue the highest possible degree of integration within each division, allowing them to conduct business in a manner that satisfies customer demand, ensuring that product & service and customer relationship matter. Theo Brandes joins the Board of Directors, where Paolo Musi is already operating as CEO.

The Managers of all Sympak Group companies will continue in their activities in order to offer efficient service and stay close to our customers.
Andrea Magnani will continue in his function as CFO of the Sympak Group.
