OPM was founded in 1978 in Monticello d`Alba, Italy by a group of dedicated, specialist engineers. The company philosophy was based on engineering excellence and total customer support.
Thanks to close working relationships with key confectionery companies, OPM developed quickly into a major group, capable of supplying complete bakery and confectionery processing and packaging lines.
OPM was incorporated in the Sympak Group in 2000 and today has 210 employees working in several production facilities each focused on a specific technology.
Today OPM has five divisions (OPM Moulding, FIMA Wrapping, OPM Flow-wrapping, OPM Packaging and OPM Palletizing) and obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certification (2008 edition).
